YMCA Financials

The new YMCA facility cost approximately $17.4 million to construct and furnish. Construction began in spring 2010, and was completed in July 2011.

The YMCA will fund the project through a number of sources.

Project Funding Breakdown:

Municipal Investment – $2.5 million
Provincial/Federal Investment – $8.4 million
Community Capital Campaign – $5.0 million
YMCA Contribution – $1.5 million

TOTAL $17.4 million
